i just don’t understand why there wasn’t an email or anything or why none of my professors did an announcement. like my school has sent out school wide emails for less. i hardly use instagram and i’ve never thought to check it for important information like this.

Edit: this post I'd getting some traction so I figured I'd add some extra context since people are getting their panties in a twist about why I responded the way I did, or why I didn't use periods the entire time. Me and this guy have been friends for six years. We met online, get along great, are very close. NO he's not negging me and neither of us are interested in each other. He's one of the most intelligent and educated guys I know, but sometimes he can be very self-centered. He writes for a living and knows how to use proper grammar. A few days ago in passing he said it was passive aggressive to use periods a lot in texts, and I told him that is just how I type and it was not personal. I told him I usually try to make sure my texts are readable, for clarity, rather than being grammatically perfect since it is not for my employer or is not academic. Oftentimes I am on my laptop texting back, sometimes i skip out on capital letters. I took note of the conversation and tried to avoid them in short text exchanges to accommodate his feelings. Today I get this text. I responded "okay" because this text message was not an invitation to another conversation. This was clearly a command and I have other more important matters than this to deal with. Okay will suffice, Hopefully that clears some things up for people.

FYI I’m the one always ending up washing the dishes even after cooking. I love him to bits and pieces, but this is one of his “enemy” chores.

I refused my face scan, as I do for all services that require it. It’s giving palantir recognition vibes. I never even did Clear during Covid.

Just an fyi for those looking to file taxes with them.

EDIT: I say this because privacy of facial recognition is possibly the one thing we have left. Don’t submit willingly.
